Welcome to Quinne & Co. Press

Open Submissions

We’re excited to begin accepting manuscripts from outside authors in 2026! If you write imaginative, nature-inspired stories for young readers, we’d love to hear from you.

Submission Guidelines

Publishing with intention begins with alignment.

Quinne & Co. Press is a small, mission-driven publisher focused on thoughtful, nature-forward storytelling for children and families. We work selectively with authors whose work aligns with our values, audience, and publishing philosophy.

Before submitting, please review the below guidelines carefully.

What We’re Looking For

✔ Children’s books (ages 4–8):
Picture books • Early readers • Nature themes • Outdoor adventure • Animal stories • Heartfelt lessons

We are currently interested in projects that reflect one or more of the following:

  • Children’s picture books or early readers (ages 4–8)

  • Nature-based or environmental themes

  • Quiet wisdom, curiosity, and observation

  • Educational or classroom-friendly storytelling

  • Values-led narratives (care, patience, stewardship)

  • Stories with long-term, evergreen appeal

We favor books that:

  • Are gentle rather than loud

  • Invite reflection rather than spectacle

  • Respect a child’s intelligence and attention span

✔ Activity & companion books:
Adventure journals • Nature logs • Coloring/activity books

What We Are Not Good Fit For

To respect everyone’s time, please note that we do not accept:

We do not offer:

  • Unfinished manuscripts

  • First drafts without revision

  • Rhyming texts that have not been professionally reviewed

  • Stories written primarily to teach a moral or lesson

  • Books focused on trends, gimmicks, or novelty

  • AI-generated manuscripts or illustrations

  • Adult fiction, memoirs, or poetry

  • Books outside the children’s market

  • Projects seeking guaranteed sales, rankings, or marketing outcomes

  • Illustration sourcing

  • Free editing or speculative reviews

  • Vanity publishing services
